Copydan Blank Tapes is a joint society for a number of organisations that represent the copyright owners of sound and video productions. The society comprises three voting groups that represent creative artists, practising artists, and producers respectively.
The society's highest authority is the general meeting at which all of the society's members are represented. Each voting group elects two members at the general meeting – one from sound production and one from video production – to the management board of Copydan Blank Tapes. The management board therefore comprises representatives of the creative artists, practising artists, and producers.
In addition, two to four members are elected to the board of the Joint Collecting Society Copydan, and a chairperson of the society Copydan Blank Tapes is also elected.
In collaboration with the director of the Joint Collecting Society Copydan, the board of the Society Copydan Blank Tapes appoints an administrative manager who appoints the other employees.
The staff of Blank Tapes comprises managing director Jacob Hedebrink and customer consultant Jeanett Heiberg.
