Licensing
Staff in this area have the responsibility for entering into and following up agreements and collecting fees. The agreements give users permission to copy material protected by copyright. There are specially worded agreements for primary schools, upper secondary schools, and universities, etc., in connection with copying works for teaching purposes. Agreements in the business area cover copying for internal use at companies and institutions.

Research and Registration
Staff in this area have the responsibility for registry the number of copies made at selected institutes of educations and in the business area and for the individual distribution of fees to copyright owners.
