Copydan Writing has been approved by the Danish Ministry of Culture to enter into agreements on the exploitation of works for educational purposes pursuant to the Danish Copyright Act article 13.
Copydan Writing offers institutes of education the possibility to provide pupils and students legal access to learning resources such as it is required for a modern learning place.
Our educational licenses cover analogue copying in the form of photocopying, composing course packs and printing from the Internet. As for digital copying licenses cover scanning of books, periodicals etc. and making these available in closed learning environments such as intranets. You are also allowed to copy digital material for the purpose of composing and making digital presentations.
As long as users respect the provisions and general limitations in our agreements they are able to make use of a worldwide repertoire of copyright protected material.
Our general licensing limitations are 20 % maximum 20 pages per publication
Copydan Writing has signed licensing agreements with all primary schools, secondary schools, universities and other institutes of further and higher education in Denmark.
