Private and public businesses
When it comes to businesses and government administration Copydan Writing has been approved by the Danish Ministry of Culture to enter into agreements on the exploitation of works with users pursuant to the Danish Copyright Act article 14. According to article 14 digital copying of copyright protected material is not permitted in private or public businesses unless these obtain individual permission from rights holders.
Copydan Writing is therefore only approved to license analogue copying in the business area.
This means that businesses and government administration can photocopy as well as make print outs from the Internet within our general licensing limitations which are 20 % maximum 20 pages per publication.
